Blue Glacier is a large glacier at Mount Olympus in the Olympic Mountains of Washington. Glaciers turn blue as when snow falls it is compressed and becomes part of the glacier. During this process air bubbles are squeezed out and ice crystals are enlarged giving the ice the blue color. This natural phenomenon inspired our latest timepiece.
